Very rare and estate fresh Roseville Pottery Creamware Gibson Girl vase. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Crazing. Vase is 11 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide. RARE FIND! In 1903 Charles Dana Gibson, a contemporary American artist drew what were called "Gibson Girls" and some were featured at Royal Doulton. Harry Rhead came to Roseville in 1909 and borrowed some of these drawings. The stencils were transferred to Creamware shapes and then the details were hand colored.
