Large and impressive Royal Bonn Ruysdael German Pottery bulbous base vase decorated with Queens Anne lace. Nice artwork and colors. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Royal Bonn, Germany, Ruysdael, 264, b15, 5506/7 and impressed 2586 CP. Vase is 10 1/4" tall and 8" wide at the base. Little is known about this early and exceptional line of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts style pottery that some have theorized was made expressly for the 1900 Paris Expo. The Ruysdael name was likely selected to honor the important Dutch family of painters (Jacob and Solomon).
