Colorful and rarely seen early 1900s Royal Bonn Ruysdael German Pottery vase decorated with iris all the way around. Super artwork with great colors. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Royal Bonn, Germany, Ruysdael, D.F. and 47/3/9.222. Vase is 9 1/2" tall and 8" wide. Little is known about this early and exceptional line of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts style pottery that some have theorized was made expressly for the 1900 Paris Expo. The Ruysdael name was likely selected to honor the important Dutch family of painters (Jacob and Solomon). RARE and EXCEPTIONAL FIND!
