About Tiffany Pottery

Tiffany
began to experiment with the development of an
art pottery line as early as 1898. However, Tiffany
did not commercially offer art pottery until 1905.
Tiffany Pottery was produced in a variety of colors
and glazes including matte, crystalline, and iridescent
glazes.
It is reported that Tiffany Pottery was not overly
successful in comparison to its glass and other
art lines. As such by 1920, Tiffany stopped production
of art pottery. Tiffany Pottery is typically marked
with LCT incised into the bottom.
