Scott's arts and crafts start began when
he and a co-worker founded Ephraim Faience
Pottery in 1996. In a desire to be more
creative and focus on hand-made quality,
similar to the small pottery studios such
Grueby, Scott founded Door County Handworks
in 2001. |

be personally involved in the creation of
each and every piece of pottery that leaves
his studio. His focus is not on production
numbers but on the quality of the forms
and glazes that represent a return to the
creativity and connectedness of the original
arts and crafts movement. Door Pottery is
truly limited-edition arts and crafts pottery
and represents the highest quality, investment
grade art pottery being produced today. |
