Arequipa Pottery Blue Bulbous Vase
	Rare and very decorative Arequipa arts and crafts pottery vase in an attractive matte blue. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a professional non-showing restoration to the upper rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with logo. Vase is 6 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" wide. Arequipa Pottery was produced in Fairfax, California between 1911 and 1918. Most of the pottery produced by Arequipa was finished and decorated by female tuberculosis patients. SALE!	$725.00

Beatrice Wood Pottery Rare Orange Natzler Volcanic Glazed Vase
	Rare and exceptional Beatrice Wood Pottery vase in a curdled and textured volcanic orange glaze. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with artist cipher. Vase is 4" tall and 2 3/4" wide. Bottom marked BEATO. ESTATE FRESH! The Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts estimated the value for this piece at $3500.00. They also said that Beato loved this particular glaze, calling it her "Otto Glaze" in fond tribute to her teacher and mentor Otto Natzler, with whom she studied. Beatrice Wood (1893-1998) is best remembered today for her art pottery. Her bowls, chalices, and other utilitarian vessels graced with brilliant iridescent glazes can be found in museums and private collections worldwide. As a potter, her career began relatively late in life. She threw her first pot at the age of 40, she exhibited regularly and remained active until shortly before her death in 1998, five days short of turning 105. Her career spanned some 60 years and late in life was dubbed the "Mama of Dada." She also served as a partial inspiration for the character of Rose DeWitt Bukater in James Cameron's 1997 film, Titanic. SALE!	$1,395.00
