Contemporary Folk Art Pottery Marvin Bailey miniature face jug. Legend has it that these jugs were first used as grave markers to scare away evil spirits or to keep children away from the home brew. There are a couple of tiny glaze flakes to the rim and above one eye. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Marvin Bailey. Jug is 2 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" wide from ear to ear.

I returned Wincraft, which was shiny and different.

I was surprised about the return policy: not only did I pay shipping ($40), but I was refunded less than the price of the item ($10). So I lost $50 of an $80 purchase because I tried out a Wincraft, which turned out to be shiny. I will not experiment further with JustArtPottery; my purchases will be only what I already know. I am cautioned!
