Exceedingly rare 1934-38 Joseph Taylor design and signed Norman era Frankoma Pottery Puma on rock bookends in ivory. Good mold and glaze. EXCELLENT CONDITION. One tiny nick to the corner of each. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with "Cat Mark" used only between 1934-38 and one incised TAYLOR on the back. The rareness of the incised Taylor marked is described on page 12 of Gary Schaum's Frankoma book. Bookends are 7 1/4" tall and 6" wide. NICE and ESTATE FRESH!
