Roseville Ivory II
Ivory is a middle period pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1932. The standard color is matt ivory, and the pattern style is Classical or Art Deco. Early Ivory pieces were marked with paper or foil labels, some with hand-written shape numbers. Later examples, after 1935, have the die-impressed Roseville script mark, shape number, and size. Factory stock pages show 183 Ivory shapes. New shapes were added periodically. Shapes were taken from patterns such as Volpato, Savona, Russco, Crystal Green, Orian, Donatello, Carnelian, Velmoss, Tourmaline, etc. |
