Mid century Scandinavian Saxbo Pottery vase in an excellent mottled brown and black glaze. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage, or repair of any kind. Bottom marked Saxbo, yin-yang shopmark, Denmark, 74 and artist initials. Vase is 4" tall and 3" wide. Saxbo was established in Denmark in 1930 and is widely recognized as one of the finest independent ceramic workshops in Scandinavia. Saxbo continued to produce high quality art pottery until 1968 when founder Nathalie Krebs retired and destroyed all the molds, designs, and glaze formulas. RARE FIND!
