Fred Robertson began producing art pottery as early as 1906 in the kilns of Los Angeles Pressed Brick Company which was established as Robertson Pottery in 1934. Fred Robertson had worked with his father Alexander Robertson at Roblin Pottery. Backs marked with F. H. R. and Los Angeles. Book ends are 6 1/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide.
